The Results Are In

We were thrilled to receive a HIGHLY COMMENDED recognition from the Black Country Chamber Of Commerce Awards 2020. The awards, sponsored by The University of Wolverhampton, were especially interested in rewarding projects that have gone the extra mile to help with the Coronavirus crisis, and worked with others to try and make lives better for the many people struggling and suffering with the crisis.

The judging panel felt that the support we have been providing children and young people in Wolverhampton through the Barnardo’s and DfE See, Hear, Respond programme had made a significant positive impact on the region during 2020. In particular, it was felt that we had managed to adapt our approaches and workforce since national lockdown, not only supporting the local effort during the COVID-19 emergency, but also being part of an impressive national programme that supports vulnerable members of communities.
