Switch is raising funds for The Joshua Ribera Foundation

This year The Switch Project is raising funds for the Joshua Ribera Foundation.

In 2013, Joshua tragically lost his life due to knife crime and his mother, Alison Cope, now visits schools and youth groups to talk about the devastating impact of youth violence (www.alisoncope.com).

This spring our staff are raising money to help Alison continue her great work and as a result have decided to challenge ourselves by taking part in a ‘Survivor Weekend’ in return for sponsorship.

The ‘Survivor Weekend’ is taking place from 10am on Saturday 27th until midday Sunday 28th April 2019 and involves working with trained survival experts to build our own overnight shelter, learn survival skills, cook our own food on a camp fire and sleep wild in the Shropshire woodland!

The organisation we are partnering with is Wild Survivor (www.wild-survivor.co.uk), who have been amazingly supportive.
